This hotel has a great location, close to the beach and various restaurants. Visitors can enjoy the local entertainment options, including famous streets filled with take away places. The staff is friendly and accommodating. Rooms are comfortable and clean with nice curtains for privacy. Complimentary nougat and biscuits are a nice touch. Guests can enjoy DSTV channels and the brilliant generator in case of load shedding.
While the bathroom extraction fan could be noisy and bathroom cleanliness may need improvement, the service and facilities make up for it.

We had a fantastic stay at this luxurious hotel! The location was perfect, surrounded by plenty of eateries and a short distance from popular attractions like Ushaka Marine and Moses Mabhidha stadium. The room was spotlessly clean, with comfortable bedding and a well-equipped bathroom. We loved the added amenities like the microwave, fridge, and kettle, which made our stay even more convenient. The staff were incredibly friendly and always willing to assist, and we particularly appreciated the generous discount offered to us. The pool area was absolutely beautiful, providing a tranquil and relaxing space to unwind under the stars. this place exceeded our expectations and we would highly recommend it to anyone visiting this area.

Great location near popular tourist attractions and clean accommodations, however.
Difficult check-in process and limited parking on premises. no water available during the stay, making it difficult to use the facilities.

Cleanliness and hygiene were excellent. Convenient with microwave, fridge, and kettle. Safe location with friendly staff. Beautiful pool and relaxing atmosphere.

We had a wonderful stay in this hotel, with the best aspects being its great location, cleanliness, parking, and proximity to important spots. The hotel is located in the center of everything, making it easy for us to get to the beach, Ushaka Marine, and Moses Mabhidha stadium. we felt safe walking to some wonderful restaurants nearby, and found the hotel facilities to be clean and well-maintained.

We had a wonderful stay at Mcallisters On 8Th. The location was perfect - close to a variety of delicious restaurants and in a safe neighborhood. The room wasnice and neat, with privacy provided by the curtains. The complimentary nougat and biscuits were a special treat. We also appreciated the availability of DSTV channels and the generator for any power outages. we highly recommend this bed and breakfast for a great stay in Durban.

Great location near lots of restaurants and nightlife. The pool area was a nice spot to unwind after a day out. The staff was friendly and willing to help with anything we needed.
The room was quite basic and overpriced for what it was. The bathroom door was difficult to close properly and there wasn't much storage space for our belongings.
